New and returning Research Masters and PhD students

Important dates

  • Remote online registration opens for Research Masters and Phd students – Tuesday, 07 January 2025 to 14 February 2025
  • Deadline for submission of Re-Registration Appeals by postgraduate students to School Higher Degrees Offices – Tuesday, 7 January 2025
  • CAAB meeting – 4 February 2025
  • Final date for minimum fee payment required for registration and final date for semester 1 registration – Friday, 7   February 2025   
  • Final date for submission of bound examination copies with respect to any intention to submit received in 2024 semester 2, without having to register for semester 1 of 2025 –Thursday, 6 February 2025
Students who have been given a slow progress letter will need to provide their School Academic Leader for Higher Degrees and Research with a progress plan for semester one and semester two for amendment and /or approval. Only students whose plans have been approved will be allowed to register. Send your progress plan to the professional support staff in charge of registration for your qualification (see the contact details on the landing page). Once you are academically cleared to register, register online using the Register Now button below.
